🥘 Pairs well with all things fish. Sushi, sashimi, salads, rice dishes (Paella, anyone?), you name it!

"So many flowers here, including honeysuckle, daffodils, almonds, and cherry blossom. The palate has a really expansive, fleshy feel for this variety, without the addition of oak, but the acidity is still forthright and still right on point"

"Well-blended white-fruit aromas are clean and fresh, while this feels tight and stony like wet river rocks. Lemon, tropical-fruit, green-apple, and saline flavors play out on a long and pure finish. If you want quality and focused restraint from your Albariño, this has it."
Decanter, 90 pts
"Beautifully expressive; fuzzy peach, white stone fruit, and a touch of smoke. Saline twist and linear acidity which carried through to the finish."
Lagar de Cervera by La Rioja Alta SA
On a seach fro white excellence, La Rioja Alta discovered the area of O Rosal (Pontevedra) in 1988. There, they took on the task of shaping the largest estate-owned Albarino vineyard in Rias Baixas.
Its unique microclimate allows for early ripening which, in turn, benefits the quality of Lagar de Cervera wines, with a perfect ratio of acidity, alcoholic strength and aromatic instensity. These are young, fresh, elegant whites.
In 2013 they opened new, modern facilities, that feature a spectacular forest depcited on the fermentation tanks, a surprisingly decor that captives the winery's visitors.
