"The 2017 Mas Donis Old Vines is a blend of 50% Garnacha, 30% Cariñena and 20% Syrah fermented separately in stainless steel, and the Syrah and Cariñena matured in barrique until the components were blended before bottling in June 2019. It's a heady Mediterranean red blend—generous and round with a pretty floral nose and the aromatic power of the partial carbonic maceration. It has a juicy texture, clean, fruit-driven flavors and a textured mouthfeel. An incredible bargain. 5,000 bottles produced."

  •  Celler Capcanes

In Capcanes, southern Priorat, land, and people are linked through centuries of winemaking tradition. Celler Capcanes was founded by 5 determined families in 1933.

After securing investments by convincing 80 people in the town of Capcanes, the winery was able to continue production while changing its focus. They began making a Kosher wine, through the "Lo Mevushal: method, which became very popular, crossing multiple borders.

The core team of Celler Capcanes is made of Winemaker Anna Rovira and Jurgen Wagner, export manager for the winery, who also contributes to the wine's coupage definition and composition.
