WINERY
Numanthia is one of the most emblematic wineries in D.O. Toro. The name Numanthia pays tribute to the city of Numancia, a symbol of resistance and tenacity. 2000 years ago and for more than 100 years, it resisted the siege of the Roman legions. By choosing this name, they wanted to create a parallelism between this resistance and its century-old vineyards, which resisted the phylloxera plague that affected all of Europe at the end of the 19th century. From these vineyards they make their Termanthia, the first wine of Toro to achieve 100 Parker points.
