Bodegas Olivares is a family-owned winery located in the Jumilla region of southeastern Spain, known for its bold and flavorful wines made from the Monastrell grape. The winery was founded in 1930 and is now run by the fourth generation of the Olivares family. Bodegas Olivares produces a range of red wines, including those made from the Monastrell grape, which is perfectly suited to the hot and arid climate of the region. The winery's flagship wine is called "Altos de la Hoya," a red wine made from 100% Monastrell grapes and aged in oak barrels to develop its rich and complex flavor. In addition to its flagship wine, Bodegas Olivares produces a range of other excellent wines, such as "Dulce Monastrell," a sweet red wine made from Monastrell grapes that have been allowed to fully ripen on the vine. Bodegas Olivares is committed to sustainable winemaking practices, using organic and biodynamic farming techniques to produce wines that are both delicious and environmentally friendly. The winery is located in a beautiful setting surrounded by vineyards and offers tours and tastings for visitors to learn more about the winemaking process and sample the delicious wines produced by Bodegas Olivares.
