In the so-called Golden Mile (Spoiler: It's not a mile!) you'll be able to find some of the world most renowned Spanish Wineries. This 30-minute drive from the towns of Tudela de Duero, where Bodegas Mauro is located, to Penafiel, heart of Ribera del Duero, hosts, along a beautiful drive surrounded by acres of vineyards, a great number of wineries with names like; Vega Sicilia, Emilio Moro, Arzuaga, Protos, Matarromera, Dehesa de Los Canonigos, Pago de Carraovejas, Aalto, Pingus...and many more. We've put a few of their wines together in this pack that will delight (Del Duero Wines reserves the right to replace any out of stock wines with another of the same or higher value):

  1. Pago de Carraovejas Crianza 2019: One of the best Ribera del Duero "Golden Mile" Crianza values that incorporated Cabernet and Merlot to the Region's Tempranillo standard, following the Vega Sicilia model to make this Red Blend stand out among the crowd. This wine never lasts long on sale.
  2. Abadia Retuerta - Seleccion Especial 2019: Selección Especial is the first wine from Abadía Retuerta in which the best wines of the vintage are selected and blended together. All of the wines come from the estate’s own vineyard, which has been separated into 54 distinct plots. This wine mostly consists of Tempranillo, which is native to the Duero Valley, and it is complemented by other varieties from the estate, chosen by tasting. The objective is to balance the quirks of each vintage while maintaining the wine’s characteristic style.
  3. Bodegas Arzuaga Crianza 2019:  Arzuaga's flagship wine. The Tempranillo, and Cabernet Sauvignon varieties with which Aruzaga Crianza is produced are grown in the oldest area of La Planta estate. They are cultivated at 911 meters of altitude on clayey limestone soil over unbroken bedrock within one meter down the surface.
  4. Emilio Moro Malleolus 2019Another Crianza great value from one of the oldest vineyards in Ribera del Duero Planted in 1932 by Emilio Moro, born in Pesquera de Duero. "To make good wine, it’s necessary to love wine” Emilio Moro
